Patterns that evolve naturally are generally an optimized configuration for an assembly of elements under an interaction

Nature found the optimal way of organizing as much seeds, buds and growth on the smallest amount of space. This is the optimal way of conducting this natural energy.

The main name for these patterns found in nature is Fibonacci. Fibonacci was a mathematician who created a sequence of numbers, the first two numbers in the sequence are 0 and 1, and each subsequent number is the sum of the previous two. The sequence is, 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13,21 ,34 ,55 ,89 ,144 etc. Fibonacci sequences appear in biological settings, creating repetitive swirling patterns, giving structure to nature, the sequence can be found in sun flower seeds, tapered pine cones, pineapples, flowers, and spirals of shells and ammonites and (refering to the pre-historic lake of Lahontan) and cactus plants (desert fauna)

Coordinate system:

SINISTER (left) (colour A): spirals that indicate the first number of the coordinate – this is the dominating spiral. It turns left starting from center camp.

DEXTER (right) (colour B): spirals that indicate the second number of the coordinate.

13 sinister 2 dexter

10 sinister 5 dexter

6 sinister 7 dexter

2 sinister 10 dexter

In this example a pattern of 13 sinister and 10 dexter spirals is used. However, the number of spirals can be easily adapted according to demand. Also the distance between the spirals can be altered according to safety regulations and capacity

Both First spirals enclose the free space of the ‘playa’ and merge in the ‘temple’, where the solar mirror is placed to ignite the burning man at sunset.

The heart of the spirals form the center camp, where every spiral finds its start or ending point – impossible to get lost.
